ERV in Display Window

ERV with Muffler Attached

The muffler attaches to the ERV with two load rated latches on either side, without having to remove the ERV from the window. The muffler reduces noise by 9 dB!  The blue dust filters are merv 6 and are washable. Optional merv 8 filter material is available, but it is not washable. It must be replaced when dirty.

Optional Exterior Cover for Sliding Windows

For sliding windows, the ERV is best rotated 90°, so the window only has to be opened 9 inches instead of 18 inches. In this orientation, the rain louvers are not properly oriented, so, at no extra charge, we will supply an exterior cover with the louvers modified, as shown above. The open gap above the ERV, 9 inches wide by the height of the window minus 18 inches, can be filled with plywood or transparent polycarbonate. There are online suppliers that will cut polycarbonate sheet to order and ship the product to you.
